Tuloy Football Club is a Philippines professional football club based in Alabang, Muntinlupa. The club currently plays in the Philippines Football League, the top-flight league of football in the Philippines.They are affiliated with the Tuloy Foundation.
History
Tuloy Football Club is a team based in Alabang, Muntinlupa, with majority of players coming from the Tuloy Foundation, a street children village.
The Tuloy Foundation itself would be established in 1996 with Salesian priest Rocky Evangelista as its founder. Evangelista would start Tuloy's football program in 2001. A bona fide football club by Tuloy would be established at an uncertain date.
Philippines Football League
Tuloy entered its first major tournament, the 2023 edition of the Copa Paulino Alcantara. In late 2023, Tuloy announced that they would be joining the 2024 Philippines Football League, the top-flight league of football in the Philippines The league confirmed the club's participation in February 2024 making their first ever debut in the top-flight league. On 14 April 2024, Tuloy recorded their first ever league win in the top-flight in a 5–0 win against Manila Montet.
El nombre del club, "Tuloy", significa "continuar" o "seguir adelante" en tagalo. Este nombre refleja la misión del club de brindar oportunidades a jóvenes futbolistas filipinos para que desarrollen sus habilidades y continúen jugando el deporte que aman.
Tuloy FC ha tenido un éxito significativo en los últimos años, ganando varios torneos locales y regionales. En 2017, el club hizo historia al convertirse en el primer equipo filipino en ganar la Copa de Campeones de la ASEAN.
El club es conocido por su estilo de juego rápido y hábil, y cuenta con varios jugadores talentosos que han representado a Filipinas en el plano internacional. Tuloy FC es un club muy apreciado en la comunidad de Cebú y es visto como una fuente de orgullo para la ciudad.
