Wikipedia - Ndejje University FC
Ndejje University Football Club, also Ndejje UFC, are a Ugandan University football club from Ndejje, in Luwero District. They have mostly played in the second division of Ugandan football but appeared in the top flight for the 2018–19 season.
The club is affiliated with Ndejje University, the second Ugandan team in the Uganda Premier League to be affiliated with an educational institution after Kirinya–Jinja Senior Secondary School FC now Busoga United, which is affiliated with Jinja Senior Secondary School.
History
Ndejje were one of the founding clubs of the FUFA Big League in 2009.
Ndejje were promoted to the Uganda Premier League after winning the Elgon group and their promotion from the FUFA Big League in the 2017/2018 football season.
The Students were relegated after one season in the top flight after losing 1–0 to Onduparaka FC on the second to last matchday of the 2019 season.
El club fue fundado en 2004 por el Universidad Nedjje, una universidad privada ubicada en Kampala. El equipo comenzó a competir en las ligas regionales de Uganda en 2005 y en 2009 logró el ascenso a la Primera División.
El Universidad Nedjje ha sido un equipo modesto en la Primera División, pero ha logrado algunos éxitos. En 2012, el equipo alcanzó la final de la Copa de Uganda, pero perdió por 1-0 ante el Kampala Capital City Authority.
En 2014, el Universidad Nedjje sorprendió al mundo del fútbol ugandés al ganar la Copa de Uganda. El equipo derrotó al Kampala Capital City Authority por 2-0 en la final, logrando así su primer título importante.
El Universidad Nedjje es un equipo joven y en crecimiento. El club tiene una fuerte base de aficionados en Kampala y está decidido a convertirse en uno de los mejores equipos de Uganda.
